is each end of the hole a different diameter? I don't think its a tapered hole, just a .250 hole drilled at a 6 deg angle. I can't see all your datums...

So I went to check the diameters of my cap spheres to check sizes and my older CMM had the cal sphere loose. It wasn't hand tight. Let me re do the lower...Last edited by acgarcia; 05-24-2022, 12:19 PM.

what probe are you designating as the master probe? Are you sharing that probe for both CMMs?

By selecting NO to all other probes and angles you are still keeping the relationship of the master probe no matter where the sphere is located on the...

The master probe is always yes manual or yes dcc regardless if the sphere is physically moved or not. All other probes and tip angles is no.

When you enter tolerances, are you putting the the negative symbol in the minus tolerance field? If so, don't do that.

Only downside is that you have to do this to every program you make. I only use it on parts I want to track. You can save row one as labels so you know...
