  • FORMAT/TEXT change is messing up display of GeoTol dimensions ABOVE the change

I did find another thread about PDF reports and GeoTol dimensions that mentioned this but didn't go into specifics.

I started seeing that if I change the dimension format from this:
    FORMAT/TEXT,OPTIONS,ID,HEADINGS,SYMBOLS,SD;NOM,TOL,MEAS,M AXMIN,DEV,OUTTOL,

    to this:

    FORMAT/TEXT,OPTIONS,ID,HEADINGS,SYMBOLS,SD;NOM,MEAS,DEV,, ,,

it messes up the display of GeoTol dimensions above the change. I've tried going in and "forcing" a change above each dimension line, but it doesn't affect it. The only thing that seems to work is to add OUTTOL to the line I want to NOT have OUTTOL on!

This is now an intermittent issue. In my experimenting, it magically worked one time, which I got a copy of, and then I tried being a good scientist and tried re-creating the issue, and it has never come back to "good".

    This is what I want:

This is what I keep getting:

    02 Bad dims.jpg

This is what I've had to settle for:

    Same issue here.

That was probably my thread: https://www.pcdmisforum.com/forum/pc...-report-issues

This might be resolved. In the latest program, I made sure to have ALL the options in the lower section selected:

      01 WITHTOL.jpg

Then when I go to the BASIC dimension section it seems to work properly:

I tried that with no luck.

Another piece to the puzzle. I don't usually auto-generate reports. I used a program written by someone else, which auto-generated a report, and then I did my own "Save/Print" to generate the PDF, and the one that I did manually had the problems, but the one that was auto-generated at the end of running the measurement routine did NOT have the problems.

I've been told this is a confirmed bug report that now has a ticket in to have it fixed in a future update. Can anyone confirm this?

This is now proving to be an intermittent issue. It is really cramping my style here, and I'm finding that in some instances I have to generate reports with all the dimension fields showing.

I was told it's a confirmed bug as well. Now to wait for the fix...
