  • Loctite on Styli?

To start off I'm this is my first post and I'm new to CMM. On my Romer arm the Styli keeps coming loose. What is the proper way to install a new/ replacement styli tip? Is Loctite 222 acceptable? And is there a tool to tighten the styli down with? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hex does, they lock the tips in the modules on the Romers. Not sure what locker they use, but they use something.
