  • Having difficulty with an alignment

    Hello,

    I am having difficulty matching the alignment that is shown in the picture below.
    I have tried different methods and using different features and just cannot get it right. I'm guessing i will need some sort of constructed line or feature to get the origin to be in space like that?
    If anybody can help it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

    Without having a print, it's impossible to know which feature(s) are important (or more important than others). A couple of approaches:

    Midplane from the inside (or outside) planes -> X level, origin
    Cylinder on the bottom shaft - Z rotation
    Line/cylinder through the holes, pierce midplane -> Y, Z origin

    or

    Cylinder on the bottom shaft -> Z level
    Line/cylinder through the holes, -> X rotation, Y, Z origin
    Midplane from the inside (or outside) planes -> X origin

    or

    Line/cylinder through the holes, -> X level, Y, Z origin
    Cylinder on the bottom shaft -> Z rotation
    Intersection of the two lines/cylinders -> X origin

    etc.
