As I understand it (from setting my son up with 2 monitors), all you need is a card that supports dual monitors, meaning you must have to check out the card (google it). My son had an NVidia 5200 128 w/tv out and he got it to work.
It's kinda cool how you can drag stuff from one monitor to the other but the novelty wore off quickly.
We have the NVIDIA Quadro FX1300 card with a two monitor set-up that works great. We're running v3.7 mr2 on a Dell 2.8 GHz system with 3 gigs of ram. We're starting to get in new parts with no 2d print so we have only the model to work with. With the duel monitor set-up we can have Catia open on one side with the model and PCDmis on the other.
Of course we just did the duel monitor upgrade about a month ago and now they say v4.0 does not support the NVIDIA card! Guess we'll stop with the v3.7 mr3 upgrade.
The way I understand it, you can have command window running in one monitor, and the watch the probe path in other. Right? Easier to have muliple views for watching probe path inspect part.

The double monitor will be basiclly like one big monitor. Put Edit widow on one side and Graphic Display Window/s on the other.Helps with clutter with more detail programs.
