  • More than 1 alignment?

I am writing a program so that anyone can pick the points in proe to be used by the CMM. When they pick the points for the alignment, they will either be picking 2 points on the X side of the part or 2 points on the Y side of the part with the points being used for determining a straight line. My question is, how can I pick only 1 alignment without the program reading the other alignment?

You can't, you'll need to use variables to get the alignment you need either in an alignment call or in the alignment itself. You can also use them in an alignment feature (what I have done in the past).

Seperate programs for alignment that save the alignment, recall in check programs.

      Maybe?

I suggest going for advanced training.
