  • CAD and constructing circles

Okay..Here's the part - simply a long round bar with "track grooves" at four equally spaced intervals. I am hitting points on circular areas of bar in four quadrants ( 3 points each quad) and then trying to construct circles out of these points. I can't seem to construct a circle that "wraps" around the bar and only get one that pierces some points and floats parallel to the table, if you can picture that. Note that I am required to create circles with only two of the circular quads and not all four. I have aligned part with an iterative alignment and all else is working well. Note that origin is off part . Is this a vector issue? I have also tried creating cylinders but get them in the same direction also. Can't get one to wrap around the bar stock.--Thanks guys!
