I've had it for the day but before I go Postal on myself, can anyone tell me how to get Symmetry to work correctly. i.e. wrkpln order of features,(i'm using lines) or anything that will help me out in the morning

I just got done talking to tech support about this.I have a part with a notch on the o.d. its a old print 1966.What I had to do was create a line on each side of the notch then construct a line thru the center of the part.At your sym. menu pick the 2 lines you measured then the line you constructed.

I have the same issue. I have two opposite lines of a slot and I construct a center line, pick symmetry of two probed lines to constructed line and get an unGodly number. I'm in the correct workplane, the opposite side part works just fine, but this one does not.

My ungodly measured value is always 0.00 no matter what I do, obviously something doesn't work right. By the way I am using two gen lines from measured mid-points and a generic line that represents zero.

I never uses this option. so this is just a thought but are both of your line going the same direction. I use to have problem in avail when my feature had different vector directions. I have other work around for the symmerty option.
