SMA renewal worth it?

My SMA is up at the end of this month. Mah boss wants it renewed. Would like your thouhts on this SMA renewal.

Might as well, if you ever plan on upgrading or receiving MR's. If you don't get it now, decide 2 years from now that you want it, they charge you for the 2 years you didn't pay (and weren't receivingg updates). Is the SMA worth the renewal - absolutely not. But you don't want to be stuck with what you've got forever.

I will always get it.. It only makes sense to me... Since the boss pays for it

If you ever want to upgrade, do it now and update your sma. Because if you wait 3 years, they will still charge you for all three years.

Or you could be like me.... been 2 years since it has expired and I really want an upgrade.. bosses see the high cost to get caught up on the SMA and so far I'm pretty much screwed.
