Could anybody help me with the following problem. whenever we use version 3.7 and go to calibrate a probe a pcdlrn mesage appears which says "an attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end".
No matter what we try we cannot go any further

Did you try deleting your probe file and remaking one? Sometimes they get corrupt for no apparent reason

If present, it would be in C:\PCDMISW\yourloginname folder. Now you mention it, I have a feeling this file was introduced in V40.

For V37, you could instead try deleting the "old favourite" gbarstate.dat, but be warned that this will lose any positions of windows and toolbars that you may have spent hours arranging nicely. :-)

Is this just a problem in a specific part program, or any program you create?
Is this just a problem with a specific probe or all probes?
Can you execute a part program?
