  • GRAPHICS SCREEN

Well, I have hit my limit on this garbage. I have 2 (or more) programs open and when I switch back and forth between them, the graphic screen 'changes'. It will no longer be maximized and it might be at the bottom, the left, the right (hidden behind the edit window) or the top of the screen (sometimes with ALL the buttons hidden). I want the dang thing to stay maximuzed ALL THE TIME for ALL MY PROGRAMS. Is there a switch or button or option ANYWAY that will LOCK the graphics screen at maximized ALL THE TIME?

Same gripe here. If you find a fix let me know.

I have the same thing happen. Also, occasionally when the screen refreshes my feature tags white out and won't refresh until I move them around. I don't think it started doing that until we went from 3.7 MR2 to MR3.

I had a tech tell me that is the way it is supposed to work. A better idea I guess.

I'm using CAD 3.7MR1 and it does not do this for me. Maybe you all should downgrade?

You don't have to move the tags. You can just resize the graphics screen a tad and the tags will "refresh."

                      save layout

3.7 MR3 if you do not have any custom toolbars, (3.7 enhancement is custom toolbars do not work), but only default or modified default toolbars, then get your edit window, ctrl-w window, graphics screen, toolbars, etc, everything the way you want then save the layout. Save layout will not work with anything but default toolbars. Now when you switch between programs you have only to click you layout icon and all will be as you like it. I know, you should not have to click the icon, but it is the best workaround I know of. HTH
