    Please take a look this the program below,renishaw sent it to me yesterday.I
    ran it,but I did not get the results the file was emthy,renishaw said that maybe the path for the file save was write protected.Please advice.

      Yes,Tha'ts where it went the first time,after it finished I changed the file Path to a different place,Renishaw said that maybe the path save file is write protected,so maybe I will ran the program again and send it to a different directory,since I do not know how to unprotect a write file.

            MCG HELP FOR FILE WRITE A PROGRAM TO SHARE

            I did some programming for Renishaw concerning this and i have two programs i wrote for different length arms i will share with anybody that wants them. The MCG tools software that comes with from Renishaw has a problem with the PCDMIS___dmis write code. I run the MCG weekly with these programs so i know they work. the data i get from the output can be compiled in the MCG tools program and i usually see only about a micron of difference from my numbers and the numbers from a B&S calibration. I will send it to whoever wants it and the price is FREE. send me your e-mail address and let me know you want it. after you see the program you will be able to modify your existing programs to get the data from the MCG run.                   I'm having problems with my MCG program same issue as with C:\DEFAULT.DMO.WRITE Can anyone help me with this please. Scott Bean offered a free prgrm awhile back could I get a copy of that?

                        I had to use 1 in "Enter the number of times to repeat each Measured Point" and change these lines of code, so the mcg_tools spreadsheet can import the output file correctly:

                          Just found this utility from http://selectcalibration.ca/downloads.html that can import the XML file generated from the original MCG - 3.0 - PC-DMIS 3.7.PRG. There are some other interesting goodies to look for here.
