    Hi all
    PCDIMS 3.7MR2 cad++
    How or can you have the vectors for IJK show up in the final dimensional report??

    Thanks

    Yes.

    When you create a dimension, click "on" the textual analysis.

    This will lengthen your report. You get another block of data showing the measured axis and the IJK values.

    What a long, strange trip it's been.

      When you go to dimension the feature (Feature Location). Check the V under Axes. V is for Vector.

        You could assign variables to each vector and use them to dimension a generic feature for example:

        Code:
         MOVE/POINT,NORMAL,-2.5,8,4
                    ASSIGN/IVECT = 098_SURF.I
                    ASSIGN/JVECT = 098_SURF.J
                    ASSIGN/KVECT = 098_SURF.K
        VECTOR_POINT=GENERIC/POINT,DEPENDENT,RECT,$
                    NOM/XYZ,0,0,1,$
                    MEAS/XYZ,IVECT,JVECT,KVECT,$
                    NOM/IJK,0,0,1,$
                    MEAS/IJK,0,0,1
        DIM VECTORS= LOCATION OF POINT VECTOR_POINT  UNITS=IN ,$
        GRAPH=OFF  TEXT=OFF  MULT=10.00  OUTPUT=BOTH
        AX MEAS NOMINAL +TOL -TOL DEV OUTTOL
        X      0.0001     0.0000     0.0500     0.0500     0.0001     0.0000 ----#----
        Y     -0.0003     0.0000     0.0500     0.0500    -0.0003     0.0000 ----#----
        Z      1.0000     1.0000     0.0500     0.0500     0.0000     0.0000 ----#----
        END OF DIMENSION VECTORS
        Would dimension the I,J,K of a plane named 98_SURF.
