4.0 ?!?! No, Let me send you a copy of the far superior 3.6 ! ! ! ! If you are going to bump up, go with the latest/greatest 4.2MR1, but the word on the street is 4.2MR2 will be here soon, so you might as well wait. IMNSHO

                4.0 NO!

If you really must upgrade, download 4.2MR1. Many here seem to think that 3.7MR3 is Hexagon's gift to the helpless. I can not judge that since I never used 3.7. I did use 4.0 though. Oh boy, that was not very nice...

Also, don't let them convince you to either load a "beta" (like 4.3 or 4.4) or an RC (release candidate). I have nothing but bad experiences with that. But 4.2 MR1 is quite acceptable.

If I were you, I'd take it out of the drawer and study its aerodynamic capabilities (frisbee). You also may want to test its crashworthyness (frisbee it into a wall). Or, stick it in the microwave data side up, turn off the lights, cook for 5 seconds and enjoy the light show.

Another fitting end would be to do as Matt's favorite Mythbusters did. Install it on a high speed motor and spin it so fast that it can't withstand the centripedal forces and flys apart into a hail of plastic shards (you will probably want to retreat to another room).

I'm sure others will have input as to what you can do with your 4.0 cd.

I'd give it a shot. How bad can it be?

I tried 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2, I have now gone back to using 3.7 and might just stop there.
