Matt,
as a modification to your post.....

with my CMM being a Starrett retro fit with PC-DMIS, I have to hit the "end" key on the keyboard after every feature. So on the ocassion that I am at the far end of the CMM table, I have to walk back after eac and every feature to "end" the probing. There is on button on my jog box for this....bummer

with my old software, Apogee, it had an option that allowed me to preset the number of hits to a feature. when the number of hits had occurred, it would automatically start the next feature (same feature type). So I did not need to go to the keyboard after every feature, nor press a button on the jog box.

Change it in the edit, preferenses , setup. and uncheck the box, or wont that work

I thnk he is saying his jog box does not support hitting done to end a feature, he has to hit End on the keyboard after each feature.

Ours was the same way until I bit**ed to the tech guy that comes down with the sales rep. He had a 'fix' for that problem so now we can press the 'RTN TO SCREEN' button on the box and that will 'END' the feature. The 'DRIVE' button will record Move Points and the 'RECORD' button will delete the last hit when measuring something like a circle.

Call B&S and see if there is a fix for the job box.

Walking back to the key board takes too much time. Get the powers that be to buy you a wireless keyboard if nothing else!
