  • where is it? long CMM

Last week I came accross a webpage that showed a really long CMM. It was about 130 to 135 feet long, bridge type. multiple tables along the length. It was used for checking wing components.

anyone know where this page is? I lost and now can't find it again.
Which one gets ridden today? MPH vs MPG..tough choice, both are FUN

I saw this in a B&S publication, I think it was a Boeing plant.

I think you are talking about a 30 meter machine that is going into Boeing. It may be larger but the machine is going to be used to measure wing spars......

Yep, Go to the B&S site and find the MFG magazine archives. It's in one of those. I'd tell you which one but my Adobe is messin' up right now so I can't find exactly which on I saw it in. My copy of this mag is at home. Hope you find it!

I remember seeing that, or a similar picture hanging on a wall in the lunchroom at the B&S Wixom, MI Tech Center.

I have had this copy on my PC for a long time and I cannot remember where I found it. I know it is a DEA machine built some time ago. I did several searches; google, yahoo, ask and could not find it again. I can email you the jpg I have if you like.
