When you mess with the alignment in a program and the message appears about hit "YES" it will change the features below and hit "NO" it will not. Is mine the only one that still does that no matter what the responce.

Please help..... if there is a fix.

You hit no and it still changed stuff?

I have had that happen on occasion. Closing the program and pc-dmis then restarting pc-dmis and opening the program again has always gotten it to behave as it should - but the program is still messed up from before.

That is one of the reasons I like to have automatic file save turned off. If it happens and I haven't saved it, I can quit the program without saving. That way when I re-open I only have to fix what I did since my last ctrl+s. I also have made a habit of saving as a different name before I go messing with alignments.

I never have autosave turned on. Hit CTRL+S every couple of minutes and that is programmed in my body's involuntary mucsle memory.....

Never, ever close a program if you've screwed it up and can't fix it. Quit, Quit, Quit. Then reopen your program and viola! it is back to where it was when you made the mistake.

There is a setting within the SetUp Options (F5) that will affect the results of your response to this question.
I keep this setting unchecked to allow "what if" scenarios.

John that option was turned on too.

So I will try it with it off today.

Thanks for the help and suggestions--let me know I have some friends in the PCDMIS world.

One thing I always do. I save everytime before I start to work with alignments. I will add a number at the end. When I am done with a program I add the word Master at the end.
