I have a SP600M scanning head. I don't do as much scanning as I use too unless our Faro Arm is down. I have been scannin all day and I notice some of my scans would not go the way I programmed them. (Linear Open) When I pickup my 3 points I usually tweek the numbers and correct the vectors. Well when I was correcting the vectors it the path of the scan would change. Has anyone else seen this and why is this happening. Could it be that by changing the vectors I am changing the path? Do I just leave the vectors alone? If I leave as is will this have any affects on the scan?

    TIA

    Vectors

I tweek the cut plane that I use for linear open scans...not the init, or end vectors. by changing the cut vector, the scan end point will change. I am guessing that by changing the initial vector and end vector the cut plane vector is changing..making the end point move.
