  • MMC not working right.....

    Please look at the screen shot. Why isn't MMC on the to datum feature holes being used to best fit the hole?

    If your RFS deviation in X and Y is greater than your tolerance, which it is, bonus will not be included in the calculation of your dev .

      Are you saying that the modifiers on the datums are only applicable if the X and Y deviations fall within the RFS zone?

            No

            I just reread your question. I didnt get what you were asking. The modifiers on the datums are only applicable if the feature is in tolerance with the bonus included. If it is not then it reports the dev RFS.

                  Working as inteded, eh? Try this experiment:

                  Report the feature linearly and look at just the X, Y and diameter. Then report the true position with x,y, the diameter and the bonus modifications. Be sure to use the datums with MMC. I'll bet you don't get the same X and Y deviations between the two reports.
