Serialization Error ????

I had not run this program in quite some time and today when I went to open this up an error window poped up. I have never seen this before and it won't even open up the program.

Can anyone shed any light ?

The program is probably hosed. I hope you have a back up.

TWO THINGS:

1) Are you using an OLDER version of Pcdmis NOW than the last time you ran it? If so, that's the problem, try using a newer version

-OR-

2) Delete the probe file that it uses. Sometimes they get slimed and will hose you on opening. HOWEVER, if you do this, do NOT open that program again first, instead make a 100% new program, re-create the probe file, THEN open that problem program.

I sometimes get that error when I have a flash drive plugged into the computer and I close a program that was open before I inserted the flash drive. I don't know if it tries to automatically save to the flash drive or what. I've been able to recreate it for our IT guy. He just said "don't do it that way". Good answer. I wasn't asking him to fix it really - I was just wondering how it was confusing the software.
