  • Wire Frame Thickness

I am working on a detail for a customer. Surface and wire frame. I am checking all the surface, but only within the wire frame boundaries. It is hard to see the wire frame (yes, I did the colors). Is there a way to make the wire frame show THICKER so it will stand out better? I know I can in my cad package, but can Pcdmis do it?

None that I know about other than adding material on vector point. Run into same thing from time to time.

I take by that you mean you changed the colors of the wire frame to be different than the solid.

I don't think there is a way to change the wire thickness.
            Lately, it occurs to me

YEP, I made tehm as ANNOYING as possible to get a good contrast, surface was BLUE and wire was YELLOW. The worst color combination in the world.

You might try applying a texture to the surfaces.
You can get some very strange effects with that.

                    Matt,

Have you tried adjusting the transparency level?

I'll try again I think it'll help more this way.

Did you try the transperancy option. it will allow you to see thru the surface to your wire frame.

No, I didn't try that, I have never even used it, but it did do the trick, I'll have to remember that for the next time.

                            RESOLVED, thank you TESTED!

I'm sorry about the "Matt" post I keep hitting the tab key and continuing to type without looking at what I have done and ... well anyway I'm glad I could help.

                              Have a great one.
