  • offline pcdmis - hasp device

Tried to use offline copy of software and it pop up with a message about
    HASP not found

It has worked fine in the past and we are licensed to use it

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Someone take off with the hasp? Is it still plugged into the computer? I know it's simple, but that's the place to start. If it's a USB hasp, try a different port.

Why dont they use an adapter that allows you to safely put the hasp inside the PC?

Do you have a shortcut icon on your desktop. If so try going into the folder were the demon is located & opening it that way....

Put the hasp back where it is usually and restart your computer

You have to use the same port every time you fire up your computer.
PC-DMIS has a problem when you use different ports while your computer can recognize the hasp no matter where you install it.
You have to turn off your computer, put the hasp in the correct port and then restart. No restart means no find hasp - sorry!!!

Run custprog.exe (in your PCDMIS main directory) and press save module list. See whether that works.
