  • CMM Travel Range for B&S One

Does anyone have the travel envelope for a ONE 7.10.7 relationship to the threaded holes in the table?

Specifically what I need is this:
Zero X and Y against the limit switches in the front left corner of the machine
Place the tipA0B0 in the center of the front left threaded table hole.
What are the X and Y values for that hole(in Metric)

Also what are the real travels of the X & Y?

    thanks.

    Limited out in X-, Y- > took a readpoint > X, Y zero on readpoint > measured the threaded hole it came in at 2.06, 2.17 > extreme traveled X, Y > took a readpoint > came in at 27.83, 39.75

Mind you I have a One machine with a granite surface add-on. I do not know if the coordinates for the threaded inserts are the same as the plain top.

Thanks for the info Craig... I forgot about the tables being different...

Are the threaded holes four columns of 4 holes that are offset half the distance between the holes - 150mm offset, 300mm hole to hole?

Here is what the pattern loks like. 300 mm hole to hole in the X, first row in the X is 3 holes. Then 150 mm in the Y a pattern of 2 holes centered on the first row and so on.

Thanks, that is exactly the same as the non-granite tables... and it looks like my Inventor model also!!

I have been trying to figure out where to put holes in a new fixture to fit on a One. I appreciate the help.

I whipped that out on Inventor so I could post a visual.

When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.
