Anybody get an e-mail over the weekend from 'cmmplayer' [[email protected]]

It's a link to something supposedly regarding a PC-DMIS Pro tutorial.


It's probably spam, but I was wondering if anyone else got it.

Count me in, any way I can help. I know how it feels as I did not get the e-mail so I am feeling a little orphaned in my own way. So here you go brother, one more reply. Besides it looked like my technical posts were starting to catch up to my social ones and I have not decided yet which way I want to go with this.

CMM Player is a "white hat" hacker out of China that has been around for a couple of years now. He has somehow ******* PC-DMIS and currently sells offline seats in all versions for $1000 USD. He will give you a limited use license to try it out.

I would say best to ignore any messages you receive from him.

honestly, I just felt bad this thread got ignored and the other got all the attention.

I just want to throw some good karma at Dave Fiola for putting some life into this thread. I have been around forums for a lot of advice on a lot of things and this one seems very well balanced. I get a lot of use from places like Extreme Visual Basic and others but being so dry and technical just makes them hard to get into, then there are some places where members are always on the attack and I swear you can't get crap for sound advice from them. This place is cool, entertaining and technically valuable at the same time.
