I just imported an IGES file from solidworks and its just a wireframe when it gets on pc-dmis... Whats the process for making it into a solid?? Can pc-dmis even do that?? I'm running 3.2 btw.

IF it is only wire frame, then Pcdmis will NEVER show it as a solid, unless the 'cad guys' made surface entities in the file AND exported tham, you will only get the lines, no matter what you do.sigpic

When importing, after process, there is -Make 3D- option; still didn't catch to SEE surfaces, but with wireframe toggle they act like ones...Comment

When saving as on Solid works there is an option for surface file only.Robert Horne
