  • Stupid Question

I am running 3.207 on two of my CMM's and 4.1 on the other... The question I have is this, is there an easy way of getting my data to an AIAG dimnensional sheet? any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I've never heard of an AIAG dimensional sheet. Can you explain?
I used to be high on life but I built up a tolerance.

4.1 has a template for that, but IMNSHO it's not the greatest. Usually I will send the data to DataPage and import the .txt into Excel. I am assuming that the dimensional form that you are using is in Excel. This will work regardless of which version of PC-DMIS you are using.

EHines... you are correct, it's in excel, and I do send it to DataPage, but the parts we are PPAPing have about 9 sheets worht of data... alot of cutting and pasting and typing just trying to get a work around, but thanks!

Can you create a macro in excel to do these repetitive tasks for you?

I believe it could be done, but I am no excel guru... In fact I start college this semester, and excel is one of my online classes.

We use DIS Inspect for this. It will also do the cpk etc. All that you need to do with your report is print to rtf. The Dis uses the rtf files.
