How do I get my 4-directional Star Probe to use the other 3 ruby balls without a wrist articulation?
I have a 4-directional star probe (there is no ruby ball in the zaxis) and I need to measure an inside diameter. I realize that we are unable to use 4 ruby balls to measure 1 auto circle. We must use one of the ruby balls to measure 1/4 of the diameter, then, use another ball to measure another 1/4 of the diameter, etc...
The problem lies where the CMM only wants to use the ruby ball which is located on the star at A=90, B=90. How do I get the star to use the other 3 balls without a wrist articulation?
Thanks again,
