  • Surface Point Comp.

    Hey Guys,

Don't know if I missed a setting or what but when I measure a surface point with 3 sample hits it with a guessed vector of 0,0,1. It appears to measure correctly and show an actl vector of aprox. 0.09,0.07,0.996, the problem ithat when I report the T value it matches the Z deviation exact. Shouldn't it be slightly off?

If your T value and Z vector direction is close your values will be very close.
How many decimal places are you reporting?

Do you have snap turned on? If so turn it off.

The vectors are different to the point that the deviations should be about .03mm different and no, I don't have snap turned on. Could there be a setting I don't have turned on that takes care of this?
