  • Remove Feature Control Frames From Graphics Forever

Anyone have a clue how to get the FCF's to go away and stay off my graphics screen. Wasn't too much of a bother when I only like 10 or 15, but now with like 65-75 their eating up my resources and my time.

The few times I used 4.2 I noticed they were piling up and tried to turn them off. Could not find a way. Ineteresting that YOU don't know. Now there is nobody to ask. Sucks to be you sometimes, huh?

Beginning of every program : F5 > ID Setup > Labels For: (choose) features >
uncheck Show All IDs check box > APPLY

Won't see them again unless you try. Works for me, I love it.

I have exactly the same issue. Takes forever! I have bounced this to Hexagon several times, but never got it fixed. I then reported it as a bug.

It is highly annoying. Especially if you have a black background, then it seems as if the system is doing nothing (it only paints the FCF's in in black!). So you start to click and drag and in no time the pcdlrn error rears its ugly head.

If you find a fix for this, I want to know about it too!

James / Jan and other 4.2ers, there was a new toolbar added into v42 to help with this. Try selecting View | Toolbars | Graphic Items. Then click the icon that toggles off Feature Control Frame labels. Then save your part program. Does that work? This works for me. But I am using the beta version; so if it doesn't work it may be a bug in the original release.

Everyone is MY friend! *grin*... I have had morcilla when I was living in Argentina for a couple of years.
"In parts of South America, morcilla is a traditional component of the asado, a regional mixed grill or barbecue meal. Morcilla is also eaten inside a sandwich called "morcipán," especially in Argentina and other Río de la Plata countries; " -- From Wikipedia
Not too bad once you get used to it. Their churipán was of course delicious!

Anyway hope that icon works for you ya'll. Alternately, you should be able to right-click on a FCF, and select Hide IDs | Feature Control Frames.

Right click select Hide IDs | Feature Control Frames wouldn't do it. I even made viewsets after hiding the FCFs and that didn't do it.

I believe it is fixed in the V42 beta version and not currently in any of the MRs.
