Using vector points on the Cad model the actual hits are not in a normal pattern. Although the part pins out on the fixture. All round holes match up to their true position, and I know the hex hole is in true postion but when I vector the hex hole it does not center......am I missing something??

If you want to measure a HEXAGON I would use PC-DMIS; perfect match.

Get it? HEXAGON owns WILCOX? maker of PC-DMIS.

No really, if you are using 4.0+ use the AUTO-POLYGON. Works like a charm.

If you are using an older version, use a circle with 6 hits. You will need to use the REMEAS function and you wil lget a good locaiton. Size is a different matter.....
