Is there a way to configure PC-DMIS to setup any 3 gages (indifferent body positions) & run each program & print out a report, move on to the next gage, etc... at night when no one is around? If so, what kind of setup time would it take?

Would this be any kind of time saver? What would it take to set this up besides qualifying all of the tips needed & perhaps doing a manual alignment to each gage first?

if it is the same gage then you could do it inside a single part program, if it is a different gage(without writing one hugh part part program) then you would need a master program of some sort to manage the different programs.

There are many threads in the forum that discuss this.

could you help direct me to some of the previous threads that talk about master prgms to manage different/multiple programs? I would appreciate the help.

            Thanks

Do an advanced search for "Fixtures" and "multiple parts"
