Seems I read where alot of programmers dont let the machinists use their CMM's. I personnaly rarely ever touch a CMM and program four of them offline. Here is a suggestion, use a locator and save it to an external alignment.
Recall this alignment for every program.
Use a generic point and off set it from the locator to part origin.
Call this point XYZ zero.
Turn DCC on.
Prompt them to view a setup sheet.
Your done
