Gday,
I believe you would just select whichever you are using ( disc or cylinder ) when you build up your probe in the probe utilities box, the software should compensate for this. ( just put your cursor next to the probe in your program and hit F9 ). cheers.

If you don't have a profile for your cylinder/disk probe already in your 'tip library', then you'll have to teach it by qualifying under the 'manual DCC' button on your probe qualification window. Once you have it in your library, it will qualify just like any other probe.

Don't forget to add the additional hits for the "Shank Qual" if you are using a shaft or cylindrical probe.
