  • Lost scanning abilities

    Hello all,

    I had to run the portlock licenses update yesterday at the threat of being kicked out of DMIS land. Today it appears I should have let this happen for I no longer am able to use scanning options ie. open, closed, patch, ect... When checking the modules it seems that I now have version CAD instead of CAD++. Is module change why I no longer have scanning options or is there something I am still missing here? Also, was the portlock update what caused the module change? I have called tech. but figured I could get a quicker and more honest answer here.

    You had to call tech support for the dongle update right? When they made the new license stuff they made a mistake. Call em back. We do it right because we do it twice.

      True. This happened here when we upgraded from 3.2063 to 3.7.
      It took a while to explain what was wrong, but we finally got the message across and they sent an exec file that fixed things up.
      Lately, it occurs to me
      What a long, strange trip it's been.

        Tech. support has apparently been improved since the v3.2 days. They have already called and resolved the issue. Thanks to all
