We have recently purchased a manual CMM with PC-DMIS CAD. When we try using the manual scan the numbers will not repeat. Anyone have any ideas?

How far off? Manual will never be extremely accurate. You need to ensure your hits are of the same force and same vector. No one is capable of the exact same hits every time.When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

We checked a dowel pin at the top and then the bottom and there was .150 difference. We of course verified that the pin was in fact the same at the top and bottom with micrometers.Comment
