Hey Guys hope someone can help me out here.
I need a Generic Specification for Tip Calibration:
I was out of the office for the past couple of days and someone else was running my machine. During that time they called me up complaining that they couldnt get any of the tips to calibrate.
So now that Im back. Ive done the usual checks, but had to increased the probe alarm limit to force it to pass. Probably not the right thing to do as Ive not had this problem before unless something was actually bent, broken or dirty, but nothing is passing.
Anyway Im getting StDev results of .012 to .014mm, and PrRdv deviation of .004 to .007mm from nominal. I think this is high for such a relatively short tip.
Probe build is as follows:
SP600M
Convert9mm_to_M3Thrd
Convert_to_m2thrd
Exten20mm
Tip4by20mm
This is a pretty standard probe build which I use all the time. So Im curious what the standard alarm limits should be for the StDev and Probe Radius.
Thanks again.
