  • UPGRADED FROM 3.5 to 4.2

We just upgraded from 3.5 to 4.2. I converted all of our programs and everything looked ok until I noticed that on the features we are measuring TP all of them are perfect!

For some reason we get 0 deviation on TP in the MMC.

Any thoughts? The TP dialog box looks right

Delete and redimension. v4.0+ has a different setup for True Position which probably is doing something to your older version results.
I used to be high on life but I built up a tolerance.

Ouch. Just a note of caution. PC DMIS does not like converted programs. Your dimensions are likely to be the tip of the iceberg and eventually the least of your worries. Hopefully you backed up everything before you converted everything.

Picture TP like a go no-go scenario. PCDMIS attempts to mimic a hard gage and based on you material condition modifiers the part can go even when there is deviation. In that case it will report 0 TP.

If "Fit To Datums" is checked. But I agree with craiger, this is more than likely what you are seeing.
