    Hello All ,

I have a problem . I need to output the diferance of two features . Both features are constructed lines . Both are in the same workplane with a vecotor of 1,0,0 . I have tried the Distance output and selected both lines in the Xaxis perpendicular to the Zaxis . Is this correct ? and if not , how would you output this feature ?

    Thanks

When you say "Both are in the same workplane with a vecotor of 1,0,0", do the lines have a vector of 1,0,0 or does the plane have a vector of 1,0,0?

If the rworkplane has vector of 1,0,0 then you can use the XPLUS workplane to calculate the distance, but you should also use the PERPTO (feature) option. This will tell the distance from one line perpendicular to the other line. Try that, see if it is what you want. . .

What Workplane are you in? If you are in the Z workplane, and measuring across the X axis, it should work
