Old style reporting 4.0

just loaded 4.0
and am trying to do something that I have never had a problem with
until now. I can not find old style report mode
it looks like i may have to build my own
any help would be appreciated

I am not sure a about4.0 but its been in edit, Prefereneces, edit window layout, old style

don't think you can do that in 4.0 fellows. it's not that simple anymore you have to format a "template"

I think if you right mouse click on the report itself you can change it from there. It's been a few weeks since I looked 4.0 but there is a way to do it.

In the Report Window, right click in some white space (i.e. NOT on a dimension). This allows you to click on EDIT (which is the old EDIT - PREFERENCES - EDIT WINDOW LAYOUT - REPORT TAB). Other than checking and unchecking the TEXT option, you would need to customize the report yourself.

I absolutely hate the new style of reporting. It takes half a piece of paper to report the true position of 1 hole. And I have to try and teach myself how to make a template with the new style.

With that said. Click Insert-->Dimension--> click the "Use Legacy Dimensions" that will bring you back to the 3.xx style of reports. And no, you do not get to use FCF with it. :/

From the report templates choose "TEXTUALANALYSIS" that should give you a text based report vs. the boxed in version prevalent since 3.5
