  • Okay to update alignment, Do you want to make this the default...

Okay to update alignment, Do you want to make this the default or however it goes. I must have done some fat-fingering but it's not asking me this anymore. I must be having a brain-fart after taking a week's vacation and can't remember how to get it to ask me again. Anyone have any ideas?

I think it is in the F5 SETUP WARNINGS section. You can select the warning default (YES or NO or whatever) and if it is displayed or not (will do the default automatically).

      Those were set correctly.

Maybe the demon got me again and I just need to shutdown & reboot...

That is what I was going to suggest. Quite often I find that it doesn't recognize that I have changed the alignment or simply doesn't recognize the alignment.

If it doesn't recognize the change, sometimes I can get it to work by deleting part of the alignment (like the z orgin) and setting it to something else. Then, when it asks, I click 'no' next, I edit the alignment to what I want and it will usually ask again. If it doesn't I close without saving and re-start and try again.

In the second scenario (doesn't recognize the alignment) executing from above the alignment to below the alignment usually sets it straight.

            lost prompt

I have found an alternative solution. If a reeboot doesn't work, you can use a windoze utility called add/remove programs. I removed pcdmis and never had that problem again.

            Sorry, I couldn't resist

Are you posting from home and living off worker's comp? Or unemployment?
I used to be high on life but I built up a tolerance.
