start up emergency error

"Level2: TU04 communication error Please Reset Emergency"

Machine will not start - anyone familiar with this error?

stuff that hasn't worked:
1. restarted computer restarted machine
2. bumped air presure up a little
3. cleaned all TP20 and all connections on the PH9A
4. cleaned scales with denature alcohol

specs:
DEA BETA
TUTOR P
pc-dmis v3.5 release

Does your machine have an emergency stop button? If so have you reset it?

6. checked the E-Stop buttons

lol, yes that was one if the first things i checked (should have put that on the list)

after further searching the forum i found this thread:

i checked the connection to the joystick and the main connector was a little loose - tightened it and it seems to be working now. thnx for the reply.

got a motion error so had to restart the machine (with this dinosaur you have to restart the control everytime you get an error) and getting the dang TU04error still... wiggling the conectors not working this time... arrrgh!

update:

opened the joybox and teh 9 prong plug was loose - pushed it in all the way and put a drop of super glue on it -
