  • Location of Cylinder

I have a contructed cylinder from a scan that's skewed a bit from the axis it's supposed to sit parallel to. It's telling me the center line of the cylinder is off .040" from the parallel axis. Does anyone know how PCDMIS calculates this kind of location check?

Hmm after zooming into the graphics window, there is a gap there.

This depends how you're locating it. Location or Position

Position, F1 the "For Axial Features" window for a description

      Location, its the axis average
