scanning of small holes or features - newbie-

I can't get my machine to scan small holes (under about 1 inch) in always says that it has been interupted and it always happens at the end before the retract move. I have a TESA-M head withe an SP25 scanning module. Any help would be apreciated.

Post some code of the scan in question. Toggle the scan such that all parameters are being shown. Also what version you are using is extremely helpful.

My guess is your prehit/retract are too high.

I have the same setup. So you are using the Linear closed. take the second hit as close to the first as possible in the direction you want to go, let me know if that works. At first if I did them to far apart the probe would just keep going and going

Thats a good question. I have never used it. I will try it today. My CAD Guy likes the points.
