I,m looking for any suggestions, for checking a bolt pattern 5 inches deep, with out any clearance for the head. I,m using a Renishaw MIP manual head. I tried using approx. 5 inches of extensions, but do to the length X & Y coordinates are coming way out of tolerance. The hole sizes are approx. .200.
