  • Ideas for measure of cone over roll pins ?

I have a 45deg cone on a round master. It has a size diameter called out, measured over .1/8 dia roll pins. I know how to output gauge sizes on cones, but I am thinking some variable assignment stuff here. Anyone been successful with this problem ?

    TIA !

      Thanks Bob,

Not exactly what I am looking for, but it gives me something to build on...

I'm sure you have already found your answer but I thought I would post this just to contribute to a forum that has been invaluable to me. I must give props to bob mappes as the link to his post above gave me the inspiration. Attached is a screen capture of some code that will adjust for cone angle and output for height over a gage ball (Ø.625" in metric). I'm sure the code could be condensed but this way allowed for easy trouble shooting.
