  • clearplane after hit in the middle of a feature

What command will give me a clearplane after a hit in the middle of a circle feature?
My part clampage is in the way of each hit.

It is possible, but ONLY with a learned feature, NOT an AUTO FEATURE (ie CTRL-F)

        Clearplane in Circle

It will work if you use a measured feature..not an auto feature.

just copy and paste a move/clearplane between the hits of a measured feature.

This may be dependant on version. I'm in 3.7mr3.

Do a learned feature. You can either insert move points in between hits or insert a move clearplane in between hits (I copy and paste).

Why not just use the old fashioned move point?

I work with many different fixtures, clamps etc., and use move points exclusively.
Clearance planes for me are a pain in the ............................

All right already. I wasn't thinking of learned features. I never use them for anything accept maybe in a manual alignment.

But, you can ALOS only use those in a learned feature, not an auto-feature.

OR, you could measure the circle as seperate auto circle arcs with move clearplanes in between them and then piece them together with a constructed circle.
