Use notepad or wordpad to open XML. I'm not sure excel can open it. Or are you confusing it with XLS? Are you needing an excel report of your measurements? Just wondering cuz as soon as I saw XML I was thinking excel as well.
select the excel tab, click o the check box in the top right corner. at that point you can select the prompt or auto and choose what folder you'd like it saved too.
