Your opinions would be greatly appreciated!! I know alot of users are high on 3.7mr3. How about for scanning???

Most of our work consists of scanning, 3.7MR3 PH10MQ with SP-600 and TP-20 on B&S XCEL and GLOBAL. Experimented with 4.2 a little and not too happy with it, more time consuming to program and had some issues with execution. 3.7MR3 works great for us.

I do quite a bit of scanning. I use an SP600 with 3.7mr3 and for a while now I have been using 4.2. Scanning is fine in both versions. Actually a little better in 4.2.

I like 4.2 for scanning, especially the uv scan, since now I can select multiple surfaces. I think 4.2 reduces a lot of the other mouse clicks than 3.7
