  • Reversing the axis in CAD

I looked through the book, but could not find this: How do you reverse the axis in a CAD model? We imported an Iges File, and the Trihedron is in the right place, but the Z axis is reversed (its Z- instead of Z+). Is there a simple way of reversing this? Or is the simplest way to just do a manual alignment on the CAD and setting the trihedron origins and axes where you want them?

Thanks! Thought there was something like that, but I haven't used it since the class...

If you have CAD software, orient the trihedron on model before you import it.

There is only one engineer allowed to do that, and he is not at work today. But this would be ideal, I agree.
