  • Manual TTP scan

    Good morning,
I am trying to figure out how to do a manual ttp scan. I am on PCDMIS 4.1 with only CAD. Engineering needs me to scan a groove and create a surface or point cloud so that they can use the surface in a CAD model.

I would like to figure out how to use the manual ttp scan. Does anybody use this type of scan? I tried to create a manual scan but am not having any luck.

    TIA

once you have reconciled the CAD model to the actual part, click on the scan icon choose your start , direction and end points, increments etc and go. you will then output the feature as a spline.

I do not have a CAD model of the part. All I have is the part. The only scan I type is a manual ttp scan. I uploaded a snap shot of the options I have for a manual tpp scan.
